Is there a way to program IR codes manually?
Please confirm whether downgrading firmware might be an option, if so, how I can achieve this.
Is there an option to send in the light manager for repair? Or what are the alternatives?
Thanks.

Hi Rtwl,
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately the firmware version remains the same, and the issue still persists.
@jbmedia: what would be the appropriate next step?
Thanks.
Regards,
Tom

Wehn looking at your screenshots we noticed that some GUI items are not translated. This is true for all items containing umlauts like ü, ö, ä. On the screenshot of the actuator administration the umlaut ä is even replaced by a question mark. This is really strange. What language does your Windows version have?
However, this does not explain the learn problem. First we have to find out if the learn command reaches the Light-Manager at all. For this purpose we made another test version. Please use the same download link as before, install it, run a firmware update. Afterwards open the page 192.168.xxx.xxx/lastpost.htm in your browser.
Now press CTRL-T in airStudio and then press set time. This is just to see if any command gets to the Light-Manager. Now start IR learning again. You should see somthing like that in the web page:
Is this true on your system?

Good evening JB Media,
Thanks for the provided support, really appreciating the help.
My windows language is currently set to English (United States), the language in airStudio is set to English (see screenshots).
I re-downloaded versie 9.9.1 and installed it, first time I tried to update the firmware it resulted in an error. The second try the firmware could be updated (see screenshot).
The lastpost.htm page resulted in a 404, until I removed the username and password from lightmanager setup and transferred the config back to the light manager.
After that I was able to open the page, the time was set successfully and the learn mode started working again.
I re-submitted the username and password, and the learning module is still working afterwards.
The last remaining problem now, is that i am no longer able to transfer the config to the light manager.
I will trie to downgrade to version 9.9.0 with the according firmware, to see if that resolves the issue and whether the learning module will still work.
Thanks for the support so far, and if you have any thoughts concernning the issue I am currently facing with the transfer of the config. Let me know.
Thanks.

Tom

Tried to downgrade the firmware this morning, but the FTP connection is not initiated.
Error message remains when trying to transfer the configuration.
Disabling windows firewall + windows virus & thread protection did not make a difference, not for downgrading firmware nor for transferring the config.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

You might reset the device to factory defaults and start over.daboytommy87 hat geschrieben: ↑Mi 14. Okt 2020, 08:18Tried to downgrade the firmware this morning, but the FTP connection is not initiated.

For test purposes we set our Windows to English (US) as well. It did not show these UTF8 character errors as expected. We have the feeling that there is something screwed up with your Windows installation.
However, we recommend not to enable login and password for the Light-Manager, at least not when any of these contain special characters. It is likely that these are transfered incorrectly and you might not be able to login.
